What Randomizer stores in your browser, and why. In short: no cookies, no tracking, and only what it needs to keep you signed in and remember a few settings.
What it stores in your browser
Randomizer uses your browser's local storage instead, which privacy laws treat much like cookies. It stays on your device, and isn't sent to Inclivio or anyone else.
| Name | Where | What it's for | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
firebaseLocalStorageDb | IndexedDB (localStorage if that’s unavailable) | Firebase Authentication keeps you signed in between visits. | Until you sign out |
signed-in | localStorage | Whether someone was signed in last time, so dark mode doesn’t flash light on load. | Until you sign out |
theme | localStorage | Your dark mode setting. Only set if you change it from light. | Until you change it back |
projectNavExpanded | localStorage | Whether a project’s side navigation is expanded or collapsed. | Until you clear it |
api-docs-language | localStorage | Which language the API documentation shows its examples in. | Until you clear it |
Signing in is strictly necessary for the service to work. The rest only remember choices you made, so Randomizer doesn't ask for consent to them or show a cookie banner.
Google Fonts
Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser then sends Google your IP address and browser details, as with any web request. Google Fonts doesn't set cookies. See Google Fonts' privacy FAQ.
Clearing it
You can clear everything Randomizer stores by clearing this site's data in your browser's settings, or block it there. If you do, you'll be signed out, your settings go back to their defaults, and with storage blocked you'll need to sign in on every visit.
Changes and contact
If Randomizer starts storing anything else, this page will list it first. The date at the top shows when it last changed. For questions, email support@inclivio.com, or see the privacy notice.
